Rooms and Rates
What types of rooms are available in 酒店 and what are the differences between the different categories?
酒店 has five categories of room, deluxe, grand deluxe, corner suites, the executive rooms and executive suites.
Deluxe rooms are located on the 10th to 18th floors and grand deluxe rooms are located on the 19th to 31st floors. All our rooms are equipped with wireless broadband internet access, tea and coffee-making facilities and comfortable beds with duvets.
Rooms on the Executive floors and Suites have a private reception area, 24-hour butler service, complimentary breakfast, tea, coffee and juices served throughout the day, plus early evening cocktails and canapés. In addition, a boardroom is available for small meeting and free wireless broadband internet access is complimentary thoughout in the Executive Lounge.

Are your hotel rates per room or per person?
The rates charged are per room although the cost may differ slightly for single, double and triple occupancy.

What is the cost of the supplement to upgrade the room?
The supplements for room upgrades are as follows:
Deluxe to Grand Deluxe THB 2,700
Deluxe to Executive Floor THB 4,500
Deluxe to Corner Suites THB 8,000
Deluxe to Executive Suites THB 10,000
Rates are subject to 10% service charge and applicable government tax.

Does my room reservation require any guarantee?
All room reservations require a credit card guarantee.

How do I cancel my hotel reservation without a charge?
To cancel your booking without incurring any charge, please contact the Reservations Department by emailing reservations@watergate.amari.com at least one day prior to your arrival. You will then be given a cancellation number.

How many people can stay in one room?
Each guest room can accommodate a maximum of three people. Please note that the third bed will be a rollaway bed.

Do you have a pet policy?
We regret that animals are not allowed to stay in the guest rooms.

What are the standard check in and check out times of 酒店?
The standard check-in time is 14:00 and check out is at 12:00 noon. However, if you are arriving earlier then we make every effort to ensure that a room is available for you.

Is it possible to check-in earlier?
It is sometimes possible to check in earlier, however, this depends on availability and cannot be gurranteed. However, to be sure of having the room ready upon arrival, you can reserve the room from the night before.

Can I have a late check-out?
It is possible to have a late check out and the charges are as follows:
Check out before 18:00: Baht 2,500 net
Check out after 18:00: an additional room night will be charged at the regular room rate

Why is the guest room key card needed for the elevators?
In the interest of guest security, a valid room key card is required to access any guest floor (floor 10 and up).

Do you offer a room rate for short stays (day use)?
Day use of the rooms is available and is charged at Baht 2,500++ for 6 hours.
Rate is subject to 10% service charge and applicable government tax.

Do you have twin, triple and quadruple rooms?
We do have twin rooms. For triple rooms, an extra bed may be added. However, no quadruple rooms are available.

What is the cost of putting an extra bed in the room?
The cost of putting an extra bed in the room is Baht 900++, including American breakfast for the additional person.

Are King size beds available in the rooms?
Yes, they are.

Do you have rooms with a bathtub?
Yes, we do. All guest rooms have a bathtub and a separate cubicle shower.

The entire hotel is set up for wireless broadband internet access, with free hot zones in the main lobby and in the Executive Lounge.
Broadband internet access is available in every room.
Guests are able to send and receive email at the Business Centre. Email/Internet can be arranged in the business centre or in a private office. Pages can be printed out for the fee below:

Is a babysitting service available?
Yes, a babysitting service is available. There is a minimum charge of 250Baht net per hour for one child and 300Baht net per hour for two children. After 22:00hours, there is an additional charge of 250Baht net for a taxi home for the babysitter.

Where is breakfast served and at what times?
A breakfast buffet is served in the Promenade Restaurant on the 4th floor between 6:00am and 10:30am.
Executive Floor guests can enjoy breakfast in the Executive Lounge.

We have 5 main restaurants in 酒店:
Promenade Restaurant: a spacious restaurant with extensive buffets and a show kitchen where guests can order food to be cooked to their liking.
Capacity: 250 people
Cuisine: International cuisine, breakfast and lunch buffet on weekdays and a la carte menu. Open 24 hours a day.
Heichinrou Chinese Restaurant: Well known in Tokyo, Yokohama and Hong Kong. Heichinrou is famous for serving Cantonese food at its best. It has 6 private rooms for a private gathering.
Capacity: 207 people
Cuisine: Traditional Cantonese cuisine including Dim Sum lunch and an extensive a la carte menu.
Grappino Italian Restaurant: Take a fresh look at Italian cuisine. It is the place for casual dining.

It takes approximately 30 minutes to get from the airport to 酒店, by highway, depending on the time of day. The cost ranges from Bht 350 for a public taxi to the airport and Bht 2,354 net for a hotel limousine (BMW 5 series).

If I take a hotel limousine from the airport, will I be met by a member of Amari Hotels and Resort staff?
We have staff on duty at 酒店 to meet all our arriving guests and to escort you to the limousine. The representative wears a red jacket and carries an Amari sign.

Tourists are able to claim back the VAT on larger purchases when they exit the country. Most department stores display a sign to this effect and will provide the necessary forms for completion.

The tap water in Thailand is not potable. Complimentary drinking water is provided in all guest rooms.

What is the weather like at different times of the year?
As a general guideline, the weather in Thailand is warm all year round. However, the weather is generally most pleasant from November to February when there are clear skies and sunshine. The “hot season” is from April and May, when temperatures reach their highest. The “rainy season” is between June and September although it does not rain every day and usually the rain only lasts for an hour or so in the evening.

What should I wear in Thailand?
The dress code in Thailand is quite modest and so conservative dress is recommended. Shorts and sleeveless vests cannot be worn to visit a temple.

Are there any golf courses near 酒店?
Nearest one is The Royal Dusit Golf Course on Pitsanuloke Rd., which is 45 minutes from 酒店. We can arrange a golf tour for you including tee-off time, caddy and equipment plus transportation to the golf course. Please contact the Concierge for details at the Ext no.62.

Yes, laptops can be connected to the regular phone lines or to splitter boxes, provided by 酒店. The entire building is also wireless enabled.

We have 曼谷 Post, The Nation, International Herald Tribute, The Asian Wall Street Journal and the Japanese Yumiuri Newspaper. Guests staying in superior rooms can request one of the mentioned newspapers without any charges. For guest staying in deluxe and suite rooms, we offer a daily free delivery of one newspaper automatically

We can provide basic secretarial support services. For specialized needs it may be necessary to employ an outside company. Please contact the business center to discuss your exact needs.

We have 3 offices and 2 meeting rooms for rent in the business centre. The charges are at 350 Baht per hour for the offices; a small meeting room with seating for 3-5 people is 550 Baht per hour; and a large meeting room with seating for up to 10 people is 650 Baht per hour.
